The Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation (MBRCGI) had participated in the Brazil Innovation Week, the largest event of its kind in Latin America, in Recife, Rio de Janeiro, and Brasilia, from August 8 to 10, and discussed ways to enhance cooperation and integration within governments, public and private sectors, and societies worldwide and shared the success story of the UAE Innovation Month: “UAE Innovates”.
MBRCGI participated in the session entitled “Governments and Agility: Inspirational Cases”. Many leading international figures spoke at the session among which are H.E. Maryam AlMansoori, UAE Innovates Lead at the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation, the Prime Minister’s Office – UAE, Marian Neacșu, Secretary General of the Government – Romania, Aaron Maniam, Deputy Minister of Industry and Information at the Ministry of Trade and Industry – Singapore, Sidrotun Naim, Director of the Center for Sustainable Aquaculture and Pathology Studies (AquaPath) at the International Business School (IPMI) – Indonesia, and Edima Otuokon, co-founder of the Ladima Foundation – Nigeria.
Abeer Tahlak, Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation, stated that MBRCGI’s participation in this global event came within the partnership between the “UAE Innovates” and Brazil Innovation Week, aiming to enhance cooperation and integration within governments, public and private sectors, and societies, support development efforts and shape future opportunities for societies worldwide.
